Santander 7% on the Edge Account

Just checked mine active now.  Hope you don't mind me asking but did you make payment direct to the savings account or through your Edge current account like they say should be done?

Apparently, they say 'can only', not 'should'.

Looks like the whole set of T&C was written by some idiot as some parts are open to interpretation and the opportunity to have Edge Saver without paying the monthly fee seems to  be a loophole missed by the idiot.

So will it be a case of being charged a fee and complaining, I wonder.

Existing customer with a legacy Santander current account here. My new Edge Current account showed up online and in the app within 1 minute of completing the application. Same for the Edge Saver account when I applied for that.

I hope not. The idiot wrote the T&C. The IT implemented them. I think there were reports here confirming that it works exactly how it says on the tin.
