Afternoon all, not a bad day here.Doing a bit of tidying in the garden. Pleased to report myself and pooch had a much better night after she had her 1st dose of meds, which DH was able to collect yesterday.DS1 kept her company when we went to the football match & said she was settled. Nice to meet up with DB2,SIL and DNiece beforehand.I've done a bit of paperwork shredding /sorting, and our neighbour has offered me the use of her bin when they're on hols for 3 weeks so need to make use of that, saw them off this morning. Afternoon everyone
I had to cancel my decorator this morning as I was sick when I woke up then again when I tried a cup of tea. Annoying as I had planned to take little one to a craft session at the library this morning and then make a start on getting some of my pictures put back up. I texted DD just after 9 then the next thing I knew it was 20 past 1 - it will be some strange bug no doubt., though it could just my friend Long Covid having yet another symptom!
I'm going to get up soon or I'll not sleep tonight.
I was down at DD's house yesterday - little one is so excited because DD has arranged to meet up with another mum and her little girl tomorrow - the little girl is a couple of years older than little one but she has a tube in her tummy the same as she does. Little one has never met another child with one - she said 'granny I'm so happy she'll be just the same as me.'
Gers I've never heard of unisex buttons either - as you say it will make you think.
DD just sent me a photo of a warm winter coat she has bought for little one for school in the winter...it looks big enough to keep her knees warm as well as her bum!
Snoozer - my eldest DD was a very quiet baby, stayed sat where you put her when she got older, very undemanding...2nd DD was wild in comparison, especially when she started crawling!
I had a lovely chat the other day with someone whose girls were at the same school as mine when they were little - both of us saying how lovely it is to be a granny.
I'm going to get up now - the tea and toast has so far stayed where it should be..fingers crossed.
