The withheld number suggests it wasn't PIP itself and could have been the health assessment providers. If you know who does PIP assessments in your area then someone can contact them to ask if it was them that rang.

Yes, it was the HP which has been trying to contact to clarify some questions, but they've not called when they said they would and tried twice unannounced.

50 pages of a detailed form outlining everything wasn't enough, they need to be told verbally aswell.

As you can imagine, I'm very annoyed by all of this and given they know the circumstances and health issues I'm appalled they treat people like this.

HP has been contacted on the helpline, they've said that they can't access whoever has tried to phone or who was suppose to phone - no other advice given.

It's not an appointment I add, it's to go over a few questions which why I don't know as the form was filled in down to the T with exactly the issues and all the examples of problems along with medical evidence and consent to contact GP.

Carers have managed to speak to the person, they wanted to check a few questions.

This has now been done, however they've said that they are going to do a telephone assessment appointment and that DWP will be the ones in touch next to arrange that appointment, does that sound right? As I thought the appointment came from the HCP not DWP?

They were sure as day it would be DWP whom will be in touch with an appointment so I'm confused now.

The assessment providers make the appointments but the texts will come from DWP. Letters should be on letter headed paper from the health assessment providers.

    Thanks Poppy.

Just found out they've asked some seriously interrogating questions, like regards suicide, last attempt, who know and knew about it etc.

How long is the wait likely for a telephone assessment as this is just hell, clearly they want to try and chance something out yet they've been given all the evidence.

    This is all too much
