Tandem Verification

Is anyone else having a really slow verification with Tandem?
I signed up over a week ago and it's just sat there on "We're still trying to verify your identity".
I tried emailing them and have so far received no response.
I've also tried ringing them but after being in the queue for 10 minutes gave up.

    When I applied on the 7th August, I don't remember that part of the process taking more than a minute or so. My guess would be that you've failed the automatic online ID verification check and that your application is now in a huge queue, waiting to be checked manually - which could be the reason why they paused new applications over last weekend.

    Yes. Mine was only opened today but it's not been verified yet. I suspect they might be a bit overloaded with applications at the moment. No idea why it wasn't done automatically, my details are pretty easy to confirm and have been with every other application made.
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
