Whoop whoop! My emergency £500 in there will remain just that. (I have Santander current accounts and 123 credit card).

All they need to do now is increase the rate by another 0.95% or more and I may consider moving some of my EA savings to them.

... thanks for that ... I'm sure they'd be honoured.

I don't think they would be, I'm currently stoozing a £1.5k Santander 0% student OD. If you exclude the contents of the NLA HEBS branch saver I currently only have around £500 in EA accounts that I could possibly move to Santander before the end of the month.

Besides I doubt they'll ever feel quite as "honoured" as Nationwide were when I spent November 2022 with a £2.5k 0% Nationwide OD maxed out, a Flex Regular Saver with £2.2k in it and a Start to Save Issue 2 with £300 in it.

I must say, I was quite surprised when I logged in on 11th to check my interest had been paid.

I ditched this account a while back, when doing a periodic clear out of unused accounts. I judged at the time that it was unlikely ever to be a front runner, as it was when I opened it.
