#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -
Er thank you very helpful .. NOT.
I am going to make a decision today about which agent or sell it myself.
Its just a shame about that £200 pack thing, I wondered if there were any other options?0 -
The only way you can get out of "that pack thing" is to sell without any marketing.dolce vita's stock reply templates

As a prospective buyer, I'm very interested in seeing whether someone has got 'that pack thing' or not, as if they have not, it means the house has been on the market for a long time and alarm bells start to ring as to what is wrong with the house that nobody else has bought it in that time.
Or to put it another way - if a buyer put in an offer at £200 less than the asking price, would you walk away?
Suck it up and get on with it.0 -
Find the cheapest provider for the pack thing. The only other way to sell your house without it is to wait for people to knock on your door and ask to buy it!
1. Find chespest provider for pack thing.
2. Find cheapest agent who offers the most for the least £. I sold with Housenetwork.co.uk, cost me under £500, no tie in, can use any other agent if I wish, great ad on Rightmove (pics, floorplans, videos etc) and extensive internet marketing. It got me my asking price in August so I was pleased.0 -
You can make your own pack thing. Some you can do yourself and some you can buy in.0
