It'll be the result of some IT guy with too much time on their hands, thinking it would be clever to make blue circles appear on key presses, thus wasting even more bandwidth and slowing down the user's phone or tablet. On my tablet, half the BBC webpages won't even fully load when using Chrome but are fine when using Firefox.2

Reddleman79, interesting. I dont have any trouble with viewing BBC. Whether its due to Opera as my default, I couldn't say.
What is irritating though, is since ive had opera as default, each time i go to rain-alarm, there's a greyed out @ over the screen. I have to double tap to remove it.0 -
Is it just in Opera?

No. I changed default to chrome and it still showed. Changed back back again now0

In that case it could be an accessibility setting called 'Repeated Touches' have a read here:(If it's already 'Off' then try toggling it On then Off again)

It's not because "Show taps" is switched on under Developer options in the settings is it? Although on my Android phone that gives a white circle when you tap the screen. Nothing to do with the browser.

It's gone. All down to a fellow MSE member. I looked in Settings, Accessibility's, found sonething that was on, turned it off, the rest is history.
Isnt it odd that updates create these issues. I know I'm heading towards 84 and get confused at times, but feel good when i can with your help, restore. Thanks again.0
