HP Printer, changing address notification

We are moving. On the asumption I disconnect printer, no doubt HP will email me to say they cannot monitor ink usage. Thought I'd speak to them. However i can only find acess to them in Romania then they cut off.
As I see it, they don't need to know I'm moving, they wil be more concerned that there's no live connection.
Am I right?.
For two pins I'd find the terninate contract but for £1.99 50 sheets it suits me. Any suggestions please?.

It will sort itself out once you reconnect to the Internet at your new property.1

Assuming you have an account where you can change the physical address they send the cartridges too the monitoring will sort itself out once plugged into the router at the new address.
Most home broadband suppliers do not give fixed IP addresses to their customers, so this is changing all the time and it is not relied upon for monitoring the printers. Essentially, as long as they can get to the internet they phone home.1 -
Its good to know that. Im aware its not ideal phonong Romania then being cut off for whatever reason, it certainly made me think twice.Neil49 said:It will sort itself out once you reconnect to the Internet at your new property.

Yes, ive had an account with them for years. In fact, we moved to this house 6 yrs ago so i must have dobeca " plug and play" then, and updated my address on line. But, that said, I dont recall having any new cartridges since weve been here. After dinner I'll look at my account. Wouldnt it be strange if my old address still featured. Ill let you know.400ixl said:Assuming you have an account where you can change the physical address they send the cartridges too the monitoring will sort itself out once plugged into the router at the new address.

Oh my lord!. My excuse is in nearly 84.
Ive looked at my account, i joined Dec 2016, AFTER we'd moved here, so wouldn't have had this issue then. Ive found the place whete i change address's, so that's good. It shows I'm ok for ink currently and yes, id forgotten its £2.99 but ta.0
