Parking charge could I dispute this

Camera controlled car park, Alliance parking, Cornwall.
02/feb Drove in 12:15 went to machine to try and pay with card, machine didn't work...they had a pay by phone which I tried (and have phone records to show this) but allas poor coverage meant it didn't work, I tried many times but evenmtuall gave up after 42min. I work in Sweden and on the 9th I drove and caught a flight to Seden, hence I didn't get this payment notice until August when a friend picked up the mail, by which time the charge had increased to £175.00. It's annoying that I had no intention of mnot paying and really wanted to park at this site as there were few other locations any ahere nearby. So what does the jury think? where do I stand. Thanks for any help.

If you live at an address in Sweden then send a rectification notice to the DPO of Alliance Parking instructing them to erase your old data and replace it with your current address for service.
Make sure you use the word I have highlighted, and include proof of residence at the overseas address (redacted utility bill etcetera, Swedish driving licence, food delivery bill). Anything with the keeper's name and overseas address, but not photo ID.
Do not give them any other information. Do not mention anything else to them or this forum that might make the unregulated PPC think your are a UK resident.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Sould have said this before. The car has registered keeper as my UK ltd company at the business address, I'm a resident of Sweden so I guess it's the UK company that is liable to pay any charges?0

Ltd company responds quickly and transfers liability to the driver - you - giving your Swedish address.
Scam over.
