TSB changed account to save plus-need to use new debit card to qualify for cashback?

After changing TSB spend and save account to a save plus account, do I need to wait until the save plus account debit card arrives then use it for 20 transaction in order to qualify for the £5 cashback?

Or can I use the existing debit card (the spend and save debit card) to carry out 20 transactions and still quality for this month (August). I changed from spend and save to save plus a couple of days ago.

The only info I've seen about needing to use the new save plus debit card is when TSB talks about fees to do with transactions in foreign currency. For those, TSB say we need to use the new save plus debit card, otherwise we will be charged fees for foreign transactions.
