External Wall insulation

Hi,
Just had external Wall insulation and would like to pain a few spots where the white undercoat is coming through the render.
Do I need special paint or will normal masonry be enough?

i'll assume you meant to type that you would like to "paint a few spots"...
so yes, any white masonry paint will do the trick.
whats the finish, painted sand/cement, k-rend or similar?0 -

so yes, any white masonry paint will do the trick. But be warned - White paint does vary in tone from one manufacturer to another. Even different batches from the same company can be slightly different.Budget to paint the whole house if you don't want a patchy finish. Oh, and ideally, you want to leave the walls a month or so to let the render fully harden & dry.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I don't understand "the white undercoat coming through the render". Could you clarify, please, Ahmed, and with photos if possible?
As asked above, what exact form did this EWI take, espec the outer coating - what the layers are involved?

(On a connected note, would you be up for providing feedback on how effective is turns out, perhaps after next winter? And such details as the type of outer wall you have - solid brick or with a cavity, if CWI is also fitted, etc? Disruption caused? Finished appearance of the whole house? Cost - if that's ok? Thanks
