Court Claim Form - DCB Legal/MET Parking - Southgate, Stansted

Hi all,

Newbie here! I have received two separate claim forms, and have read through the Newbies threads to begin the defence procedure. I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming, but want to defend this because it is an absolute scam. The fines date back to 2018 at the Starbucks/McDonalds car part in Southgate, Stansted.

I think I understand the different stages of the process, as outlined in the Newbies thread, but wanted to confirm the dates to make sure I don't miss the deadlines.

As the date of issue is 9th August and it arrived today, by when to I need to submit the Acknowledge of Service and then the defence?

My other question is about the SAR: can I submit this request at the same, while preparing the defence?

It's simple .. MET operate a scam and DCBL, ONCE AGAIN HAVE FALLEN FOR A SCAM .... 

DCBL are claiming DAMAGES ?   WHAT RUBBISH .... damages for who ?  MET do not own the car parks, they are only money scammers who are employed to manage the car parks.

Couple the word DAMAGES with who signed the claim as a statement of truth .... YASMIN MIA again ... It is NOT true is it Yasim, maybe you can explain to a judge why you think fake add-ons are true

Given the history of DCBL and their fake claims and especially their very poor history of discontinuations, you fight this total rubbish from DCBL with the help of this forum

Are you aware that you can call YASMIN MIA to court to explain to the judge about the fake add-ons

This is great evidence of the 'extortion' of filing two separate claims AND adding £70 per PCN.

I mean...come in DCBLegal.

Over £1200 for four PCNs when the only possible claim (which will lose anyway) should have been no more than a THIRD of the sum DCBLegal has enhanced here; IMHO someone is having a laugh at your expense.

Re your Defences, they can't split these OCNs across 2 claims (this is an abuse of the court process). Search the forum for the keywords Henderson defence.

I have been reading all the threads and saving all the useful info to prepare the defence. Thank you for the note about Henderson defence, @Coupon-mad.

My plan is to do submit the AoS and the the SAR to MET Parking on Monday, and then begin drafting the defence.

Could members please just check if my calculation of dates is correct to make sure I don't miss any deadlines.

• Claim Form Issue Date - 9th August
• Day of Service - 5 days after Claim Form Issue Date  - 14th August
• Deadline to complete AoS - 14 days after Day of Service - 28th August
• Deadline to submit Defence - 28 days after Day of Service - 11th September
  

Do the dates above seem correct?

The work this community does here helping folks is invaluable. Thank you so much guys.

MET are operating a mega scam at this site ... one car park split into two for the purpose of extortion

The joke is that DCBL are taking on this extortion scam and the bigger joke for DCBL is they get Yasmin Mia to sign a statement of truth quoting damages ??? That is now contempt of court.

Just follow the forum, the intelligence of DCBL is sadly lacking but they do like to play their little games, we enjoy also the games and their copy and paste letters which you will get hoping you are a mug

If this wasn't such a compete scam, would it only be the driver that would have to refrain from going over to McDonalds.

If you mean complain to Mcdonalds, you can try but they hate customers hence they employ a PPC to get rid of them.

No sorry, I meant if people are getting "fined" for parking in Starbucks and then going into McDonalds, I assume as long as the driver stays in Starbucks and their passengers went to McDonalds this scam would have even less legs to stand on.

Leave out sending the SAR. As the Particulars of Claim (PoC) are so woefully short of any detail of the alleged breaches, you don't need to be shown as knowing that detail ahead of submitting your defence. Remember, it is against the PoC you are defending. If MET's solicitors can't show detailed PoC (they can't, because all they've received from MET is a truckload of unpaid  parking charges with the locations, dates and amounts, which they load into the claims 'hopper' to spew out their robo court claims), then that's their problem.  Defend what you have in front of you. 

You do know the record of court claim discontinuations by DCB Legal?  However, these seem mainly for single or low number PCNs, they may be a bit more interested in higher multiple ones. Time will tell, but continue getting through each court procedure hoop as it rolls up.
