I have received a PCN from Civil Enforcement Limited for going over 3 hours in a car park. There is a photo of my car entering and leaving. i was 3 hours and 40 minutes in a leisure centre. I have appealed stating i wasn't aware of the rules and that i had never visited that leisure centre before. i got a rejection back and told i have 14 days to pay the £60 fine and it was a final outcome. Do i have to pay this? i certainly don't want a CCJ etc or bad credit

If you weren't aware of the rules it might follow that the signage wasn't good enough to make a contract.Of course they rejected that appeal it's what they do they don't make money by being fair and above board.Have you read the newbies thread on here?Have you complained to the Leisure centre? You now have the option to appeal to POPLA but that appeal you used to the scammers won't work. It's not a fine it is what it is a parking charge notice we call them speculative invoices. You cannot get a CCJ unless they take you to court, you lose and don't pay up, don't believe their twisted comments.0

Unfortunately there are signs everywhere. I joined the Leisure centre the day before and took my 11 year old in the gym and swimming and bought us a subway inside the leisure centre. I complained to them they said it was out of there control and the parking was nothing to do with them and to appeal. I just don't know if i should ignore it and hope it goes away or pay it and have done with it which i really don't want to do. Sorry to bore everyone with this.0

Why on earth would you just "ignore" this? "Hoping it will go away" is the response of the gullible. If you pay it, you become a part of the problem because that way you are funding the scammers who will then mark you as a "mug".col81 said:Unfortunately there are signs everywhere. You openly admit that there were "signs everywhere" yet you overstayed. Who do you think is to blame?
Who is the landowner? If it is not the gym then find out and complain to them. Write to your MP. This is Plan A, as advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread.
Was your PCN PoFA compliant? If not, when you appealed (Plan
