If your not eligible for a 0% card you need a different strategy.^^^ ThisOP, it's worth checking all 3 of your credit files to make sure there are no negative markers on there, and that all the data they hold on you is correct (though ignore the meaningless score). You can check your credit files for free here: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/check-free-credit-report/But the bottom line is that, for whatever reason, you don't meet the lender's acceptance criteria. It may be down to affordability, it may be a combination of factors. But as the previous poster says, if you can't shift the debt then you need to tackle it head-on the old-fashioned way. Post an SOA on the Debt-Free Wannabe board and you'll get loads of helpful advice.

A loan can be easier to get than a 0% card and the interest will be lower than 30%.Or a credit card with 0% on purchases - direct the 'saved' money towards paying your existing cards off.0
