I opened a tandem account yesterday and given that I’m not the greatest with technology found it really easy. Happy with my 5% interest too 👍

They've paused Instant Access Saver account applications over the weekend...allegedly back on Monday according to message on the app.

Checked MSE at 3pm today to see Tandem at the top of the best buys (albeit with a 0.35% bonus that needs adding upon account opening), went through all the hoops to apply and get Tandem App. Transferred savings across.

Can't find the top-up option anywhere.

MSE at 4pm now has no sight of Tandem in their savings best accounts list.

I'm guessing the Top Up bonus has been quietly removed by Tandem and equally quietly removed by MSE from their info page (although no note to say it has been removed).

A bit frustrated, as although I know things can change, I suspect the change by Tandem wasn't between 3pm and 4pm today.

Top up bonus was indeed removed for new customers from this afternoon. There is a notice in the app stating this in the same way they did for the weekend pause to applications. Don't expect to be able to open and use an account quickly. I applied on Monday and it's still not been verified so I can't use the app yet. There are similar reports from others in the same boat. Some people are lucky and it happens immediately but be aware that it might not.
