Shame that Premier Inn don’t have an on-site carpark where you can leave the car
Might be a bit late for the OP, but recently made a trip to London, stayed at premier inn in Kings Langley, car park is free, they have a miller carter on site, Uber was £16 to train station, you can drive but the car park at station is very small.

The Uber was eexpensive wasn't it?  It's only about a mile and a half to the station.
