Fixed rate bonds good idea?

I have had One and Two-Year Fixed rate bonds with the Coventry BS for years.
Renewal time is imminent, but I was wondering if it was wise rt tie my money up with interest rates set to keep rising.
What do you think of these rates?

....might be worth a punt if thats what floats your boat. Not sure if interest rates can go much further north??..(but who knows for sure??)

There are better rates available. Oaknorth and Cynergy for example.

When these fixed term interest rates are set, the provider looks ahead for the period of the term. The fact that the Bank of England may increase another 0.25%/0.5% over the next 3 months is not actually that relevant.Enigmaman said:I have had One and Two-Year Fixed rate bonds with the Coventry BS for years.

If there is a consensus it is that fixed term interest rates have peaked, but you can never be 100% sure.1 -
Like in November last year, rate kept going up but savings rates went down.Since the last rise a week ago the best rate was 6.2% from memory. After the rise its only 6.1%.1
