Morning all, I got all the washing and bedding dried and put away yesterday. I also washed the thin mattress topper and even got an hour sat reading in the garden. Today there's not a cloud in the sky, lovely, but I'd better make the most of our "summer" as we don't know when we'll get another day this year 🤔
Another disturbed night last night because Mr Fix It wasn't well so I think today will be a garden pottering day. If the lawns are dry enough I'll mow them. Hopefully I can get some time sitting in the garden again with my book too.
We had a call from DNiece last night who is in a lot of pain with the stoma bag so she has to go under the knife again. Poor girl can't get a break.
Meanmarie many hugs to you and MrM.
Take care all, hugs to everyone.
nan xx

MoaW pa oeran hu earlier than advertised yesterday, we had only just got out of bed so we did some running around to remove things and move things..All right windows present and correct except for one unit that popped which will be replaced next week. Very happy with the work, looks lovely, now I can crack on with the blinds. I put the curtains from downstairs upstairs yesterday when they'd gone, they're too long but they are nicer than the hodge podge that was there. Unfortunately, my foot didn't like the standing and had decided to go cronky so hobbling about today. Not much planned today, dead head some stuff, trip in the car to pay for the rest of the windows, second coat on the bench.Marie, sorry to hear about your husband, hope the maggots help. Just bin off the cousin, life is too short
Izzy, good luck in work! Rosy, beautifu dog! I do love a big dog, I used to have a German Shepherd, who was massive, not the newer been bred to stupidity ones. Scarlet, I too am going to have to do the freezers. Frosty fingers here we come. The pain is that there's nowhere to spread it all out so I can see what I've got before it starts defrosting...maybe I'll leave it til it's a bit cooler..Iris, sounds very nice! Ruby, oh dear, lucky it didn't happen when anyone was there, well done for letting go of the rude one. nanny, hoe your foot is recovered, hope Mr Fixit perks...I'm orf to do more stuff, see you all later on or tomorrow...Take care all, especially the poorly, hope the holidaymakers are continuing the fun times...

Afternoon everyone I'm last again. I did start typing this morning but my phone rang and then the painter came. He's getting on slowly - I think he wants to spend the entire school holiday with me!
I went for some shopping this morning - mainly fresh fruit and then went for lunch with mam and dad, DD and little one which was very nice - the place we went to was packed but we were fine as we'd booked a table. Then I took little one for a play in the park and then we were booked to see a kids play at the library - the Tortoise and the Hare - she really enjoyed it. There were a couple of little ones from nursery there - one little boy would have quite happily come home with me!
Going to have a nice sit in the sun now and read for a bit. Eldest DD has just messaged - she's on her way to Sweden for the weekend to visit friends she worked with there.
Yesterday DD dropped little one and I down at one of our beaches - we had a really lovely afternoon. It's just 10 minutes drive away and is a lovely big beach...nothing there but beach, sea and rockpools. It's sometimes easy to forget how lucky we are to have all these lovely beaches just a short drive away.

Washing got done and dried outside.
I made a Birthday card.
Did some work on the beaded pens and a new advent calendar.
Was walking into town past the SA when we spotted donations at the front door so went in and brought them into the foyer. Went into town and visited the community shop - got some lovely fruit and veg. Realised that I had lost my keys so walked back to SA - I had left them in the foyer.
Been to SA again to lock up.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
