Anyone else discovered that BBC have updated the android news app and have missed out on the ability to change text size and line spacing .?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

The BBC news app update seems quite a few jumps backward. The font style is particularly irritating. There are quite a few negative reviews on Google Play.(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding - Nick Lowe1

I find the contrast poor, have put it into dark mode which is a bit better but even with adjusting my screen brightness, it's not quite right on my eyes.

Nothing constructive to say, other than I've deleted the BBC news app. Looks awful, Impossible to find a section of news eg business, hard to read.0

This is why I avoid software and app upgrades, I turn off auto update and background updates. I use an old crappy phone to review any new versions. I hate the BBC news app because when you work your way down the news stories, when you leave a story it jumps all the way back to the top. This is the biggest reason I exit the app.BBC news app is way behind radio news, it is as if the BBC do not think the Internet is important. I can hear a news story on the radio and there is no sign of it on BBC News app, often they show newspaper front pages and even those stories are absent.Also noticed that the BBC do not publish any positive press release by the Government (even if they read it out on the Today programme).Anyone would think they had an agenda!0

Surely that is the beauty of Apps.
So many of them that you delete what you don't like and install something else, takes a minute or two.0
