Disabled Travelling abroad

We've booked and paid for a package holiday to Greece which has been fully paid including private transfers. We are in the process of arranging assisted travel. It has been booked through Loveholidays and they are stating that in order for 'their supplier' to take a collapsible wheelchair, we must pay an additional charge of £15 each way.
Surely this goes against both The Equality Act 2010 (UK) as Loveholidays is a UK registered company, and the The Greek Disabilty Act 2005. Although the charge is small, Loveholidays is trying to pressure me into making a decision without providing a reasonable explanation of why a disabled traveller is being charged extra over a non-disabled traveller.
Does anyone have any advice?

Are they talking about the flight or the transfer? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Private transfer - which we already paid to upgrade from public shuttle bus0

Just to update, Loveholidays have come back to me "as a gesture of goodwill" to upgrade free of charge. Seemed me asking for an explanation in writing of how this request charge doesn't constitute as breakinng UK or Greek laws.2

Good result, although wheelchair taxis in this country can and do charge more than ordinary taxis so there isn’t an expectation that everything must be the same rate. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

elsien said:@marcia_ Not according to my local council when I challenged it with them.
- to carry the passenger
- to carry their wheelchair (e.g. in the boot of the vehicle)
- to carry their mobility aids
- to take reasonable steps to carry the passenger in safety and reasonable comfort
- to provide reasonable mobility assistance
- not to make, or propose to make, any charge for carrying out the above duties
