Kitchen Dilemma B£Q + Creation Finance

I'm hoping for some advice.
We ordered a kitchen with B&Q with finance for £20,000 from Creation all agreed instore.
From the beginning we were constantly told about being contacted for installation survey dates, which never happened. We ended up chasing B&Q ourselves and felt undervalued as customers.
Both my wife and I work for the NHS and have to arrange annual leave, do it's important for us to know exact dates.
We eventually managed to get a survey date arranged.
The same pattern of having to chase B&Q then persues in order to find out what the quote for installation was plus a date. We then receive three different delivery dates. All of which I needed to arrange annual leave, cancel for the next one etc.
We were told with the kitchen was £10,000 the high installation fee of an additional £10,000 was due to the installer saying he needed to rewire the whole kitchen, not because it was dangerous but because it was more suited to where the new power sockets and appliances would be placed.
To cut the long story short...
We eventually get an install date , I arrange for four days annual leave, my wife for one.
After about eight weeks we get a call to say that the install date has changed.
We were given the reason that the installer had to be let go by B&Q as he had done something serious and they could no longer use him as a contractor.
I'm now left feeling very suspicious as he was the one that surveyed our kitchen and submitted the price.
I really just want to cancel as the whole affair has felt shambolic from the go.
I've already paid £800 pound back to Creation Finance at £400 pcm.
I've no idea of my rights as it's finance and don't know what to do. All I know is what I do want is to tell B&Q where to go!

What does your contract say about cancellation at this stage? I suspect you'll be liable for some costs if you do cancel.0
