Are we now saying DIY installs can export?

The only downside (not one in my opinion) is staying with Octopus 

So scenario I have space on the south facing unshaded part of our garage roof and has a separate RCD. Can it all be wired up in the garage without having to run cables from the solar panels on the garage to the meter.

To add the garage has its own small CU and is fed by a cable direct to the MFB.

It will not satisfy night time usage.  The 0.13kwh over night is an example of my baseline power consumption.

You do realise that full panel output is never a given. I have a 6.35kWp array and on my worst day last December my array generated just 350Wh.
