Morning all, Ly1a says thank you for the messages Thanks nmlc for starting. dp1 how lovely to have a beach nearby RR good news on Rob! Interesting topic of conversation Gers, was it in German? Fingers crossed for Dad Coxy Hugs Peony. Glad the new boss seems ok Chrisca. Good to see you post Marie I haven't much planned today but will pick up DGS from his DM to take to DS2s, DGD will be there already. They called last night so he could get an ice lolly- need to order more It's clouded over now, was lovely earlier. Revised tea plans as DS1 won't be in, he's playing football with some friends.DH and I will have s/p chicken with wedges for DH. Take care all x

Morning all, I slept a bit later today, I needed that after nights of not sleeping well. DD and Jasper dog called in to collect DGD last night and stayed for a cuppa and a Scottish shortbread biscuit ( my present for caring for the hamsters) Then DGD finally went home about 8.30pm after talking our ears off 😂 5 hrs of non stop chatting without almost taking a breath, must be a world record !!
The sun was out earlier so I stripped the bed, now it's gone over cloudy, I just can't beat this weather lately. I'll throw the duster around the bedroom then remake the bed after it's aired a bit. I also need to clear down the kitchen and wipe all the tops as I was too tired last night. There is some chicken and bacon pasta salad left from yesterday's tea so we'll have that with something for tonight. Another one with and exciting life !

Another busy day here - got a phone call - could I unlock the hall to let in a group who hire a room on a Wednesday.
Did that then got ready to visit officer's house for a bbq.
Got some fresh fruit on the way home.
Called at hall to lock up.
Tired now after the fresh air - lovely weather here - not a cloud in the sky.

Evening all,

Hugs to all in need of want of one.

Very cloudy and warm today, once again no parking spot for blue badges, so the long  trek from the car park again......Rolly rollator and I are now firm friends!

DH not so good, fast asleep when I went in and very confused when I woke him, his voice is very weak. Spoke to consultant who says that wound where three toes were amputated is not healing as they hoped, larvae going on today for another five days.....if healing doesn't happen we are looking at amputation above the knee....if he is strong enough for surgery. He was asleep the whole time when DD 1 visited later. They are doing all they can but am concerned that their efforts may be in vain. 

Need to seriously begin to look for something to wear to DD 4's wedding at the end of September......intended to lose weight but one kilo is the result to date and time is fast running out!
