If they have amalgamated the three accounts together, then that presents them with problems trying to prove liability  as they did not originally exist in that format, so you have never agreed to any of this, never signed anything, basically it cannot be proven to be yours.

I`m on the same page as fatbelly with it.

Thank you. I'll have a think about which option I want to go with. If I go ith F&F should I say that it is only for the ODs as the loan is unenforceable and I am offering F&F because they will have difficulty proving the OD debt?

AIC have amalgamated the debts in their letters but they aren't technically combined with NW. Does that still mean they will struggle if I stop paying?

If I stop paying, do I flat out ignore or send a letter saying they need to prove liability for the ODs and that the loan is unenforceable.

Thank you for all your help! It iss invaluable and I really appreciate it.

You can`t do that, as I doubt they will listen or care, they will just deduct what you pay from the balance, and keep chasing the rest, with it being a combined debt, its too complex to start dividing payments, they will have no interest in that option anyway.

You can write questioning enforceability of the debt, and tell them unless they can come up with credible paperwork, you won`t be paying/or accept this offer of £xxxxx to settle now.

I'd go with the 'won't be paying' option

Thank you. Definitely sounds best to not pay and potentially offer a low F&F.

Is there anywhere I can get the wording to request that? What do they need to provide for ODs?
    Thank you

You will be questioning the enforceability of the combined debt, forget the individual originals, that ship has sailed.

There was never a credit agreement pertaining to this balance they are chasing, keep it simple, until they produce something compliant, your not paying.

    Hi all,
So I stopped paying about a year ago and have only just been chased. I was going to send this. Is that okay?

Yes tell them they are to blame by not providing CCA.
