Morning folks. Thanks nmlc.
Yesterday gave me mixed weather, sometimes bright warm sunshine and then dark clouds and rain. My friends came over early for showers and breakfast, the wife was so happy to get her hair washed after a week. Then the husband went to meet one of my neighbours to look at maps whilst we went across to the sea lock for hot chocolate / coffee and cake. Once they left I set to with my banking and clearing up.This morning I'm meeting up with the lovely Camelot for breakfast at a cafe halfway between our houses. I'm looking forward to catching up with her.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Tuesday to all.13 -
Morning all,
NMLC- your dinners sound tasty. Gammon and egg is a particular favourite of mine. Gers, that sounds lovely, have a fun time.
I am going to be having a quiet day, my tummy has decided to play up, grrr! Plus, I managed to burn the inside of my lips yesterday with too hot stew! I know, I’m nearly 59 and I am still clumsy, lol. So, I can’t even enjoy a hot tea today…
So, today I will be working on doing photocopying of documents for my parent’s needs, plus restart the crocheting of a throw for my sister. I have given myself a month to get it completed.
If I pick up and have the energy, I do need to do an inventory of the kitchen food cupboards, or at least make a start.
Take care all.

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. GERS and CAMELOT enjoy your breakfast and catch up.
There's quite a bit of cloud about here but no rain forecast. Wow 4 days without rain, we are getting spoiled! I had quite a trip round yesterday. I got the bus to Ilkley as planned and then another bus onwards to Otley. Not been for ages since they stopped the direct bus service. Had my usual poke around in the 99p cs and then the 20p shop but nothing caught my eye. I stocked up on cat stuff in Yorkshire Trading and a reduced hot brush in Boots,. Then M & S for odd bits between buses. It was quite a pleasant day out in the sunshine and I didn't spend too much!
Today a stay home day and I have been ignoring all the weeds in the front garden - the bane of my life. Perhaps I might attempt to pull a few up.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all and be safe xx

I am meeting DSis and DDad at a private hospital this morning. Need to get DDad checked out. Typical man has been having symptoms for 10 days but failed to mention it to anyone.....Luckily main boss is off this week so deputy boss has said take all the time I need, which is lovely of her. I'm going to have a cooked breakfast as may well miss lunch if we get delayed. Dinner tonight is SW sticky pork stir fry mmmm.
Safe travels @carolbee - exciting times!
Enjoy your meet up @Gers and @camelot1001 x
A crochet day sounds fab @peony40 and nothing like a deadline to get that hook moving
Have a good day everyone,

Morning All
Bright and sunny, the perfect morning for a drive up to meet Gers, looking forward to a catch up.
Didn't manage to go shopping yesterday, after a trip to the allotment I was so tired I had a little sleep! Met up with a friend for dinner but had a bit of a tummy ache during the night I think it was too much cheese. I'm going to stay awake today so I get a better sleep tonight.
Washing dried yesterday but it was in and out as we had some horrid showers, I've just done the ironing so will put that away when I go up for a shower.
Feel better soon Peony.
Glad you had a good trip out TA, happy weeding!
Have a good day househunting Carolbee.
Hope your decorator finishes soon Ruby and you can get back to normal.
Have a good day, take care. XX11 -
Morning all
Its a bit overcast here today with some rain due later I hope it stays off as I have three people coming today and I would like to get out and about with them if possible.
Decorator has finished the study and is half way along the hallway, he seems to think he will finish by Friday but I can’t see it myself, I think he will have to go into next week but I am happy to be proven wrong.
Finner tonight is filled pasta with salad and avocado, I have put a wash on this morning but it will have to dry inside.
Camelot and Gers enjoy your breakfast xxx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
