Hi,
I have a video clip that I want to upload onto Facebook however its over 600mb. The limit is 300mb or less.
What is the best way to compress the video so I can upload it?
P.S They are all AVI files.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that suggestion but unfortunately it keeps coming up with an error message and will not convert the file.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

You may stand a better chance of success here if you happen to mention what 'it' is, you mean the program you used to create the file? and furthermore what 'the error' is.
Facebook seems to have the ability to encode the videos you upload according to this page: http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=26 or here: http://www.facebook.com/video/?encoding though you need an account to view the page apparantly.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
I've often used this one for conversion.

You can set a target file size if that is your issue with the Facebook upload/encoding.
Facebook should be able to convert the resulting avi/Xvid.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
