Chip connecting to bank issues

I assume you have to reconnect the bank you use with Chip every 90 days. As I have been using Chip for a while now it must have worked first time. But when I tried today after it said it needed connecting. I just get a “please wait” and rotating circle from the bank I am connecting to. Unlikely to change as it’s been about 20 minutes now! Can’t access my bank via its app as it just throws up the same screen. And can’t cancel it via the Chip app. Any suggestions?
Rebooting my iPad did clear the screen so can now access both my bank and Chip. But it still won’t connect when I tried again. Guess without reconnecting you cannot access and move your money in either direction?

    If you "Can’t access my bank via its app", then it looks like a problem with your bank, not Chip.
  • I got it to connect after a few more tries and linked to my bank account. It closed the bank app correctly but instead of giving the link back to the Chip app I got this error message.
