easyjet unforgiving luggage policy

That looks very clear. Thanks powerful_Rogue. Looks like I made a very bad mistake.
I still think that EasyJet could have given a refund as it is clearly possible to add luggage so why not delete it?0 -
Yeah I agree. I suppose the argument could be that there is a lot of buttons - but I feel all the buttons are well explained and prices are all there along with pictograms.powerful_Rogue said:Quince2012 said:Thanks Eskbanker. Interesting that you assumed that I'm old and a novice and have grandkids!
Maybe "digital Airlines" like EasyJet should be given some sort of "diversity assessment" - an industry standard quality mark to reflect how easy they are for all ages and abilities to navigate?Sorry, but I really think you should go through a mock booking, because the EasyJet website is extremely easy to navigate. It shows you exactly which part of the process you are at, with the option to skip each step if needed.
Cabin bag selection or skip
Hold luggage selection or skip
And then of course, the summary of what you have selected at the checkout before you book.I'd be very interested in how you believe they could make this process even more easier?I think if anyone was going to try and take legal action for misselling, then it’s what’s reasonable.I do think I, however, that consumers should be able to cancel add in services to their flight (within reason) and there should be a differentiation between flights and services added on, with different cancellation rights.1 -
Have to agree with powerful rogue. Having booked three times in the last 12 months with easyJet, I can’t see how it could be easier. They literally spell it out for you.1

Also, if I remember my last EJ booking correctly, and assuming things are still the same, it defaults to no hold baggage so you have to explicity add items, rather than remember to remove them.OP, sorry to keep piling on here!0
