Eligability test 1 ) is about having the right to live in the UK. Any children under 16 or up to 19 and in full time education would allow the family to pass the priority need tast ( test 3 ). Vulnability is an extension of test 3 and may apply to someone elderly, disabled or other investigated reason.

  • Just wondered about point 4, a local connection? does that mean living in the area a long time/working in area or family in area?
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Point 5 local connection means that the applicant has lived in the area for 6 out of the last 12 months or 3 out of the last 5 years. You can also have alocal connection if you or your partner work in the area, either paid or unpaid.

Local area connection for family living in the area has no legal definition but guidlines state that if you have a parent, adult child, brother or sister, and they have lived in the area for at least 5 years and express a wish that you live near them then that is enough to establish local area connection.

Well it definatly means you are insolvent! Also you should be exempt from the court fees as well.

Well as tiger says you will be exempt from the court fee,and no IPA, I seem to remember that you have 3 children so if there is no one working now you will get around £ 250 per week in benefits, no rent or mortgage to pay, no council tax to pay and TOTALLY DEBT FREE.

Why not take a bit of time out and spend it with your family, I did, it certainly worked for me !
