Advice on N180 form

I received a fine in 2021 from Uk Parking Control Limited for staying
too long in a Mcdonalds car park. I ignored all the letters (I know I
shouldn't have now). A few months ago I submitted my defence to the
County Court Business Centre. At the time my car had a problem with a
coolant leak and it was often overheating, I didn't want to drive it
until it had cooled down and it was safe, this was the reason I
overstayed. I have no real evidence of this except for the fact I had my
car scrapped around a month later but I didn't meantion this in my
defence of course.
I've recently received a 'Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track'. It says I must complete the N180 form attached by 14th August. Do you have any advice on whether I should I consider this claim suitable for determination without a hearing (Question D1). Do you reccomend I should try to mediate with the EX730 form or will that make them more likely to not drop the case?
Also do you know if this means I will definitely be going to court for this or is there still a chance they will drop out?
Thank you in advance for your responses

This is already covered in the NEWBIES thread section about what happens when (a red capitals heading) and that's why we NEVER agree to Mediation whilst we still have that choice.
The other question is in a thread in 2022 by @Grizebeck if you search the forum for:
D1 question N180.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

FYI @Coupon-mad, there is no longer any 'colour' in the Newbies/AQ thread title:Coupon-mad said:This is already covered in the NEWBIES thread section about what happens when (a red capitals heading) and that's why we NEVER agree to Mediation whilst we still have that choice.

But there is red text in the second post of the NEWBIES thread...
