Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Cloudy, but dry - sun looks like it may get out from behind the clouds at some point. Air is chilly.
Lunch yesterday as roast pork, very nice and some LO's.
Weekend passed way to quick. Back to work this morning.
Keep safe and well x

Morning everyone. The day turned glorious yesterday, clear bight blue skies, no wind and even hot. I collected my friends from the their overnight parking spot and took them for a delicious breakfast at the marina cafe then did a mini tour of some of the beautiful places here, all made even more lovely by the weather. I left them in the early afternoon to explore by themselves. In the evening we went for dinner at my local hotel and then a quick explore of the churchyard's ancient gravestones.Last night there were roughly 20 deer, of assorted sizes, right outside my house, it's so unusual to see so many out in the open. It was a perfect sight and end to a wonderful day. Even then I had one more treat, a large long-eared hare was hopping about where I park my car, it didn't seem to bothered by me. 😀This morning my friends are coming here for a shower and breakfast. We'll visit a neighbour briefly and then they'll head off up north. I have Monday banking to do later then I may have a wee snooze.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Monday to all, it may be another sunny day here.13

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It's another dry day, better not tempt providence so I won''t say "dry" any more.Nice to hear from you Peony.Glad you got to see your friends Gers, hope they enjoy their holiday.TA it must have been lovely to see your Dgd's dancing, Your youngest is 13 now - how the years slip away. Hope she enjoyed her birthday.Ruby, what a brilliant idea to put a brush in the chimney, and it's saved you a lot of money..Snoozer glad you're enjoying your holiday, you deserve it! We once went to Trier when we were touringthe Moselle valley in our motor home.I've never forgotten it because 9/11 had happened the day before, and it's fixed it in my mind.Hope you're ok Taff, after your carousing! We had a good day at Alnwick yesterday, the roses were a bit battered from the rain, but they'll recover. It was busy there. Izzy, I thought dogs on leads were allowed there, I thought I'd seen dogs. I must be mistaken.Making a quick visit to a friend this morning, then on to the book club in the library. We are having a visit from a local author so that should be interesting.Sorry if I've missed anyone, but hope everyone has a good day.Take care folks.15

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. The sun is shining and the sky is blue and no rain on the forecast. Yesterday the forecast was wrong again. We didn't get the promised afternoon rain and it was lovely, though a bit chilly, all day.
It would be a shame to waste a nice day (they are so rare this summer!) so I might have a bus ride to Ilkley. I don't think I have been since Christmas so it will make a nice change. Hopefully my purse will remain shut whilst I wander round browsing. Though I might nip into M & S food if I have a wait for the bus back. I have never forgiven them for closing our M & S, which is quite a few years ago now.
SCARLET I think 9/11 will forever remind us all what we were doing that day. I was in the hairdressers when it came over the radio she had on. Next day we were flying to Geneva and the security at Manchester airport was unbelievable with long queues all over.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all who need them. SNOOZER enjoy your holiday, you deserve the break. Take care all be safe xx

Morning all
Nice and bright and sunny here and set in for the day which is nice, I have one lady coming today the other one can’t get here due to the train strike, we are off to meet another carer and her lady and we are going to play crazy golf and have a picnic and if we have time a walk around the lake.
I made a roast yesterday and did enough for today so that’s a nice easy dinner for tonight just need to heat it through. DD is off to work and her and a colleague are taking a child to Alton Towers for a few days, she will be back Thursday and I’m sure will shattered after four days of working with no break.
I remember when 9/11 happened I was working for the Body Shop head office when the news came on, the whole office crowded round the computer to watch things unfold - all totally shocked it still seems unreal somehow.
Decorator due back this morning and he should finish in the study today and then move on to the hallway, he thinks he might be finished by Friday which will be good as we can get things back to normal.
Have good days all and take care xx13 -

Morning All
Dry and bright for now so the washing is out, another load in the WM that can go out later. It doesn't look too promising but could go either way.
Lovely weekend away in Belfast with good company. We had some nice meals out and saw some of the sights but yesterday's rain was torrential at times. I ended up with very wet feet and had to change shoes at the airport, thankfully the plane was warm so I steamed in my seat!
Back to reality today, allotment and some food shopping to do. Meeting a friend for food later, will be good to catch up.
Will catch up with your news later.
Have a good day, take care. XX13 -
Morning all,Just woken up! Usually, I am up between 4-5, but today I felt tired. Just catching up here, before I get up and start Monday.
Today, I am hoping to have a quiet pottering day at home … I like to do a resetting of the home after a weekend, so I will be dusting, vacuuming etc. As we live in a tiny bungalow it is nice and quick.
Other plans for today are admin duties for parent’s needs, and I still need to use up some old bananas so I will definitely bake a cake.
Take care all

Morning all, first viewing of our house later today. The house is very clean!
off to Wiltshire tomorrow to view some properties. One on paper looks good, but obviously need to sell first. Didn't really pick the best time to sell!
Take care allCarolbee12 -
Morning...Weather app says no rain due today, so about three loads of washing it is. I made a chuck together kind of lasagne type thing with leftover veg, some beef from Christmas and cheese that needed using yesterday so that's me sorted for the rest of the week. OH is on lates so he won't be eating in the evenings. The magic cupboard needs emptying and there is hoovering to do too. Probably do my daily walks around the garden too and finish the weeding off. The window people are coming again on Wednesday and Thursday, so after that I can get on getting blinds or something for them, I overlooked the fact that the landing window should have been obscured glass, and while it's nice to see out, I wwant to avoid being seen in, not that there's anyone who could without binoculars, the way the houses are set out but still....Ruby, great idea re the chimney brush, thanks for telling me about the sanding. Gers, hope your day is as nice today. Scarlet, hope the author is interesting for you
Izzy, hope your co worker is back this week..and to be honest, I can't do the drinking thing either! camelot, glad your weekend away was good! carolbee, hope the iewing is successful! Take care all, the sun is shining here, hope it is for you too!
