Tiling a hallway where the width narrows
greenery

I have a long hallway where the width is nearly 2 inches wider at one end that the other. If I want to tile in mosaic tiles with a border, how obvious will this look? Should I take up the width difference in the border or in the main pattern?
Grateful for any advice!

Is it a sudden or a gradual change in width?

Not made a final decision on the pattern yet. Just trying to decide what would work nut OH is keen on a border0

Keep the same border all the way around and lose the very slight difference in the pattern.
