I think Fermipan dried yeast is just yeast too - but I always add a small pinch of Vitamin C to my doughs. Fermipan is available from the likes of Amazon

I stand corrected - sorry, it wasn't labelled as an ingredient on Amazon, and I no longer have my pack to check.

No they aren't ALL bad! but if you are trying to avoid certain things it's worth looking at the list
    for example here:
    https://www.food.gov.uk/business-guidance/approved-additives-and-e-numbers#emulsifiers-stabilisers-thickeners-and-gelling-agents

if you scroll down the long list you see there are natural things like agar   but who knows what is Polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate; Polysorbate 20??

The complete list of everything is here:
    https://www.food.gov.uk/business-guidance/approved-additives-and-e-numbers

Might take you quite a few hours to investigate that little lot!!
