Hi from a long term lurker of this forum.
I have held a direct saver account with NS&I for many years; and it use to be very easy to contact a “human” to deposit and withdraw funds from it.
These days it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so as I have to convince Robo Bouncer to allow me to talk to an advisor.
Any reply I give is met with the standard “you can do that online” message.
So if anyone has any tips on how I can easily get to talk to an advisor would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Not done it with NS&I but with others I just keep typing "talk with me" or "talk with human" over and over!1

Try typing agent until one pops on0

Any reason it has to be a human?0

I’m not keen on the over-chummy NS&I robot phone guardian guy as it’s so easy to go round in circles, and his faux-confused conversational pauses are pretty irritating. If you ask to open Premium Bonds the AI gatekeeper should put you through to a person, or at least it did a week or so ago when I last had to speak to customer services. The lady I got through to was absolutely fine about my call actually being about something else entirely.0

It's fair to say that the latest chatbot advances have yet to reach banking apps. Most of the baking bots just pickup on keywords and show you the same FAQ entries that you have already read.0

I've used the "I want to talk to a human" line successfully. It took about 7 or 8 iterations before it put me through. I think it just gave up rather than understanding me.0

If you can use an online discussion forum, you can manage your Direct Saver account online. Why waste time and resources just to have a chat to a human?NotRichOrFamous said:Hi from a long term lurker of this forum.
