Mortgage and seasonal glamping

I would 'guess' that when you set up your business it will form part of the paperwork. Your insurance company will want to know all the details of the property and obviously HMRC will need to know etc.
if you haven't yet taken out the mortgage, can't you phone them and generically ask?0 -
Either phone and ask on a no name basis or, if you are using a broker, tell them to find you a mortgage that allows it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Do you have neighbours who are close to you? If so I think a major problem could be complaints to the local authority for instance when they find that they are living next to a campsite with noise and disturbance for much of the day. Having groups of people drinking and partying on summer evenings and into the night would be horrible to live near. You would not endear yourself to your neighbours and any attempt to fly under the radar on this would be unlikely to work.

I pity your poor neighbours!

Tell me you've investigated planning permission too?0

I strongly suggest you ask your Council BEFORE you buy the property, for it is the Council that (may) need to grant you permission to construct business premises (I.E. a camping site) on your grounds.
