I belive now is the time to switch from my variable tariff. I came here 3 years ago and you wonderful people helped me find a great website or sites for best prices. I seem to have forgotten them.

One site i remember was citizen advice but that is no longer available anymore.

Can someone please share the links of the best websites to compare energy tariffs

Thanks

Price comparison websites are not functioning as they once were. Most fixed tariffs are only being offered to existing customers under loyalty terms. Given that there is likely to be little difference in cost between a fixed and a variable tariff this coming Winter (based on known assumptions) then there is little point in switching unless you want to take a punt on Octopus’ smart tariffs which have never been listed on comparison websites. You could also look at Fuse Energy which says that it is offering the cheapest tariff on the market.

Yes but most fixed tariffs now have an exit fee. Cornwall Insights is predicting a small fall in the Ofgem Cap in October with a small rise in January. If you want price certainty then go for a fix.

I am not going any notifications for some reason

Do we think fix is better right now or not?

As someone wise here recently said.

Fixes are not intended to save money just provide certainty. That's where we are at the moment with many fixes not offering a massive discount but letting you sit back and know what energy will cost for the next 12 months.
