Paid Heathrow drop off charge too late and now have a PCN

I paid a Heathrow drop off charge online but accidentally set the payment up to be a future drop off charge rather than pay for one that had already taken place. I only noticed this when I got the PCN today and checked the email receipt. The £5 is still sat on my account unallocated.
What are my chances of appealing successfully? I made the payment before the date of the PCN so I obviously wasn’t trying to get away with it - it was just an error.

APCOA? Just email the following 'appeal' to them (no embellishment) and it will result in a cancellation. As your Parking Charge Notice does not comply with the requirements of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4), you are, in law, unable to hold the registered keeper of the vehicle liable for the parking charge; I suggest therefore you contact the driver. As there is no legal requirement placed on the registered keeper to identify the driver, I will not be doing so.'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you do the above, your chances are 100% win because APCOA can't hold a keeper liable.
JUST DON'T TICK 'DRIVER'!
DO NOT ADD EXTRA WORDS ABOUT THE 'STORY' OF WHAT HAPPENED.
The above works by appealing as the keeper (they already have your name and address so obviously you put those details in).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
