Hi
Just wondered if you already have the Members Month Loyalty Saver at 9%  if you can hold one of their Regular Savers as well or does this count as the only Regular Save you can hold at one time.

I have both. IIRC, the restriction applies to the 12 Month Members' Regular Saver and the Small Saver only, not to the Members Month Loyalty Saver. I did apply for a second 12 Month Members' Regular Saver by mistake, when I was after the Loyalty saver. It was opened originally but they closed it within days.

The 9% Member Loyalty RS was treated as a special product (like the 170th Birthday one a while back) which they allowed members to have in addition to the (standard) 12 month RS or Small Saver RS.

If in doubt, give them a call.  Their call centre staff are very helpful and have good product knowledge.

I have both the 9% Members Loyalty RS and the 5% Standard RS - no problems. As has been stated you can only have one of either the Standard RS and the Small Saver RS. Last increase of interest rate on the Standard RS was 26/7. Will there be a response to the latest BOE increase?
