They will also typically have a lien over the goods in transit, and will often hold any shipments in progress pending payment or auction to meet due invoices in this situation.born_again said:
Best guess as couriers have not been paid & will not take anymore items till paid.Debbie9009 said:Their website says home delivery is temporarily unavailable, so I suspect your greenhouse may not be arriving anytime soon1 -

I wish you would edit the credit card bit to say that a chargeback is how card providers will deal with this rather than just mention S75. Never mind people thinking that as they spent under £100 that there is no way to get their money back. Chargeback has no £££ limit. 👍
It stops people getting upset or complaining when they are told that a chargeback is going to be used to reclaim the money.

On wilko website it says click and collect is not currently available, so their website is only driving traffic into stores (a lot of which have limited stock).MSE_Molly_G said:Thanks everyone for your comments. I don't know if the article has been updated since your post but it does highlight chargeback as well as s75:born_again said:

It stops people getting upset or complaining when they are told that a chargeback is going to be used to reclaim the money. If your point is that banks will typically use chargeback in preference to s75 (when there's a choice) then yes, that ought to be mentioned, but it perhaps reflects MSE's apparent belief that chargeback is some sort of inferior substitute - downplaying it as "isn't a legal requirement, just a customer service promise" isn't particularly helpful when it's a fundamental part of using the mainstream card schemes, rather than something optional and vague! If you can't get your money back from Wilko, you may be able to get your money back if you paid using a debit or credit card:
- If you paid on a credit card: Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, if you pay for something costing more than £100 but less than £30,000 on a credit card, the card firm's equally liable if something goes wrong. See our Section 75 guide for more details. If your purchase was for £100 or less, you may still be able to get your money back via Chargeback.
- If you paid with a debit card: Under chargeback – which isn't a legal requirement, just a customer service promise – your bank will try to get your money back from the bank of the firm you purchased from. Though be aware that even if you're paid, the firm itself can sometimes dispute it with the bank and the money may later be clawed back. You typically have 120 days from purchase to submit a claim. See our Chargeback guide for full info.

It has. Thank you @MSE_Molly_G 😍👍
Totally agree @eskbanker
Chargebacks are part of the card regulations & banks have to abide by these. So they can not simply say no, when the option is there. 👍
It is a very efficient & fast way of reclaiming funds in these cases.Life in the slow lane1
