There is no time limit for loading unloading unless specified on signage.
It's irrelevant whether the driver or keeper were residents at the site.

Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP.

I wouldn't bother with an SAR unless you get a court claim.

You can defend this claim. BWL offered me a discounted rate, 5 days before they secretly discontinued the claim without notice. They will try court, put pressure onto you until the last minute and back out in all likeliness.

I genuinely think their business model is exactly this. Pressure court and CCJ's in the hope people will pay in fear. Those who fight back with a defense, they take all the way until the last minute and drop out.

Speaking to BWL on the phone for another matter made me release how scummy they are. They're not legal representatives in my opinion, they are scummy little con people only focused on parking fines. Do not be afraid of them and fight back!
  • Appreciate your help and reassurance here, thanks everyone. So for the time being, hold out and just ignore until/if an LBC comes through?
  • Hi all,

I have an update in my case. I have received a letter of claim from BW Legal. I have dropped the ball and have now missed the deadline by 5 days. I can't believe I have let this happen but am now trying to work out the best course of action. Can I still reply to it? Any advice for what to do?

Also a note - I never received a Letter Before Claim.

    Thank you.

Do you mean you have received an N1SDT claim form or another letter before/of/claim?  A letter of claim and a letter before claim, a letter before action and a letter before county court claim are all the same.

What deadline? The only deadlines that matter are court ordered ones.

If you have a Letter Before Claim "giving" 30 days from BW Legal, I would personally just ignore. They don't always do court, unlike DCB Legal.

This has been covered on a duplicate thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi all,

Thank you for your replies. As stated by Coupon-mad, this has been covered. Honestly, I'd forgotten about this thread so started a new one. Just continuing the waiting game for the time being, of course just received an email back from BW Legal stating I must use their portal to get in touch. Won't go near it. Will post with updates, thanks for your help so far.
