Insurance cover increased for RM Tracked 24/48.

Due to their ability to collect from my works address during office hours I make regular use of the RM Tracked 24 and 48 collection service via eBay for many of my eBay sales.
It is also very good value for higher cost items due to the included £100 insurance cover.
Arranged one yestersday and noticed that the insurance cover has now increased to £150 since last week which could be handy for anyone selling something worth a little over the old limit.

The same happened to me last week. However, when I Googled to see when the price increase happened there appeared to be people on the ebay forums talking about the change a few months back. I wonder if it was rolled out on ebay first.Tracked 24 / 48 is marketed as being for peace of mind but I have found it the most stressful service going with parcels taking ages to update the tracking and taking days to arrive. With £150 insurance it makes it a bit less stressful as I sometimes sent parcels with a avalue between the £150 and £200 mark when the insurance was capped at £100.2

I think it is an incredibly useful service and compared to other couriers and standard PO prices quite a bargain.I’ve just had a parcel collected , just under 2kg and RM48 collected from my door was cheaper than the same size parcel at the PO.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Generally really like the service, however tracking is more patchy than it used to be.
I got one today which shows as recieved by my regional delivery office yesterday, then nothing until the delivered message.
Usually with Tracked I'd see recieved at local DO then Out for Delivery.
Not the first time it's happened recently.0 -
Oh yeah I did see that a while back and clocked it but didn't really register it. As I think I said before on here with it now being only 30p dearer than 2nd class for a small parcel I generally just use it all the time now. With the collection etc it's a pretty good deal. Got one being picked up this morning and I'll do another 2 over the weekend0

Although the tracking can be a bit slow to update the emais and texts are spot on. As you don't get customers email addresses on ebay I put in my own in. It's been £150 compensation for quite a few weeks now.1

You don't need to put any email address in on the click and drop website. If you keep pressing the next page button it gives you a warning that yo have not entered the email but lets you go to the next stage.
