Morning time travellers. 😀
I wish I had done a washing load yesterday as the day stayed dry and warm, no sunshine though. At my aquacycling I didn't cycle but put lots of effort into the arm swishing stuff. Massage was so good, lots of knots untied.Early this morning there was a glorious sunrise, bright red sky along the horizon. Yes, I know it's 'shepherd's warning' and it's gone already. I've got a zoom meeting later this morning and some salad bits with chicken for later.Hugs to our poorlies. Happy Thursday to all.11 -

Morning All
The sun is shining! Can't remember the last time that happened first thing. Yesterday was dry and windy so all the bedding was dried and put away, just a couple of things to iron.
Busy day yesterday, allotment, went for petrol, bought new door stop springy things, library and a tip run. Lots of jam making in the afternoon along with cleaning the living room windows, just need my handy neighbour to put the blinds back up now.
I have the little one today, we'll go to the park and go swimming later then I have the dentist for an hour and a half's appointment - can't say I'm looking forward to that!
Glad your massage was good Gers.
Hope your finger has stopped bleeding TA, sounds painful.
Your boss is a character eh Izzy?
Hoping your lip is healing dp1.
Have a good day, hope the weather is kind. Take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. We currently have sunshine and some blue sky but the inevitable rain is forecast to arrive by lunchtime. I'm sure the local reservoirs must be overflowing by now.
We enjoyed our bus ride to Skipton yesterday, despite the heavy rain. As expected only 2 stallholders had braved the elements and set up for the day. The usual tour buses were still dropping passengers off though. We spent more time over lunch than trailing around and never tire of stuff to talk about.
A stay home day today so the usual jobs await. I might even venture into the back garden before the rain arrives but there isn't much to admire out there with everything looking battered and past it's best already.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies and getting better. GERS glad the physio is helping untie the knots. Take care all and be safe. xx

Hi everyone,
I have another busy day in store today. Running Steve to the golf club so that I can have the car in a few minutes, then either taking Esben to nursery or looking after Esther while Laura does (Brian is going golfing as well but to a different club). I'll then go shopping with Laura to stock up while we are away and do some ironing. This afternoon we are going across to see Crystal and Nate before we go away and then I have to pack.
Re the ironing, I very rarely do any but in the summer I have a few linen things which I can'r bear to wear without ironing, as a result they tend to get a couple of wears and then sit there reproachfully until I put them away in a drawer for the winter. I want to take my linen trousers to Austria though so needs must.
We are spending the night at Ashford tomorrow and catching an earlier Shuttle than we had booked before. It means we will get to our first stopping place by late afternoon on Saturday rather than after dinner time. I am so looking forward to the break.
Jackie, I hope you are recovering well.
Have a good day.

Morning all. Sunny here so far.
Had a busy day yesterday as it was my Community Larder volunteering slot. We had lots to do there and the time passed quickly. Afterwards I popped over to DDs with some food bits that I needed to pass on as we go away on holiday to Devon tomorrow.
Today I have ironing to do but won't pack until this evening. DH will sort his things out today as he's out this evening. He spent ages yesterday getting alternative quotes for his car insurance renewal, only to stick with his current company as they seemed to give the best deal. At one point he came down and asked me when I'd passed my driving test as someone wanted to know; I worked it out as 1973
Hope Jackie is recovering well and everyone else has a good day.13 -

Dull and overcast here but we are promised some sun later before the rain returns this evening. I am off to collect Rob this morning and take him to work we are baking in the cafe today which he loves ! His sister also works there ( mum adopted them both) and it’s her Birthday today so mum is getting a taxi up there to have lunch with her daughter and I will take her home when I drop Rob off.
The decorator starts this morning on the study and hall stairs and landing it’s been a long time coming so I will be glad to get it started, I am going to ask him to start in the study as the contents of that are in the conservatory and we can’t get to the table to eat at atm, the sooner he does that the sooner we can get back to some kind of normal.
Dinner tonight will be salmon and new potatoes with peas or salad, I have put a wash on this morning and have had a quick tidy through.
TA I hope your finger is not too sore xxx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Morning all normal service is resumed its like my life comes to a stop when DGS is here i just about manage to look after him i dont know why i am not organised i said to DH last night i had 3 under 3 and i coped better than i am now so i need to get myself a plan . Today will be washing and the weekly food shop and just general tidying
Carolbee Thats great news we found limiting viewings to fri-sun meant that we could live normal life during the week and then just have a show home at weekends made life a bit easier
London 1 Hope all went well for you yesterday
Wicked Lady and Snoozer I hope you both have a wonderful restful holiday
Gers do they have bikes in the water ?
Right better drink this cuppa and get on have a good day one and all I hope the sun is shinning wherever you are x

Snoozer - ooh! It's all come round so quickly, it'll be wonderful.Bella - the bikes haven't got wheels, they rest on feet so are static in the water. They can be moved around easily once tipped up but are very secure when being used. As for DGS, it's so easy to forget the passage of time and how it ravages energy levels.Ruby - you are so brave having the whole house decorated, I baulk at the upheaval of only one room.Wicked Lady - have a fab time in Devon. I've only been once when aged about 10.Camelot - what a productive day you had! And I hope that the dental appointment isn't too awful.DP1 - how bizarre, I hope that you feel better today.Rather rashly I've put a white wash on and will hang it out when it's done. There's only a slight risk of rain (according to the forecast) so I'll be brave. Here's a photo of some of the swallows outside my bedroom window earlier. I took a video of them swooping around but don't know how to load it! There were so many at one point though once they spotted me a load took flight.11
