Looks like a dahlia to me. I like the purple leaved kinds myself.

I thought Dahlia at first, but could it be Elderflower? (Very pungent when crushed.)1

My first thought was Elder.Heck I've seen a lot of them in my time they do seed well. Only needs a visiting bird to drop a fruit or from the other end, the seed
One way to know for (almost sure) is to use the plant identifier app. Or find a friend who has it.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I tend to agree now. While it does look dahlia-ish, it looks even more elder-ish.-taff said:Picture This says Elder.

Very interested to hear your opinions. Thanks.0

Could it be ground elder ?If it is, don't plant it out in the garden, or you'll never get rid of it again.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Thanks FreeBear, I've had a read about how "invasive" ground elder is. Whatever it is, I wont be planting it out in the garden.0
