Sadly, after many years of active service, the original free online storage services discussion area is now closed, so I've created a new place here to discuss the guide:

I use Mega, it used to give 50gb free but now it starts at about 15gb and gives you 5gb for every person you refer to them IF that person installs their app.  It gives more storage if you get your friend to install on Desktop first using browser and then to install a mega app after.

If anyone wants me to refer them then please PM me your email address or an email address you create for this purpose (must be valid and what you use to login).

If you do not use it for 3 months they will email you saying they miss you and eventually threaten to delete your data but they never have me.

I use it as I do not want to give Apple even more money and because I can access on my desktop, so is easy to upload from mobile to create space and then I download from Mega to PC and store on external drive so I have multiple copies.

They have subscription options too, I have never needed to pay but I would if I needed to.
