klarna have now started their investigations and out of nowhere last night bed kingdom email me. this time it's a different person from who I've been dealing with telling me that looking at the photos again it has actually been assembled wrong and the ladder can only go on the left side, not right and that will cause the entire bed to be unstable.

my instructions say different, plus there's no screw holes for the ladder where the instructions say there should be and pretty wild they'd said I've assembled wrong when I've got a completely different bed frame to what I ordered and in a previous email they said "from looking at your photos and video we can't see any fault" 🥴
I'm a bit confused - the instructions you posted a photo of do show the ladder on the right hand side as is the built up bed on the website. However the photo of the bed you've built has the ladder on the left. Which is what you say bed kingdom are telling you to do. Or have you mixed up right and left here?

I cant see how that would affect the stability but is it worth giving it a try on the other side?

I can see where it's confusing I apologise. the instructions on the front show a photo of the bed on the left, but inside the booklet it says the ladder and be put either side. I am going to move the ladder to the left and take photos etc for them cause I don't think it's going to effect the stability when it's the leg bolts loosening

I've swapped the ladder to the left side and can confirm it's no difference to the stability, but it's difficult to video

But even if you swap the ladder from one side to the other, what you've got still isn't what was advertised, is it?

    (1) the ladder you've got is at a far steeper angle than the one in the advert photo, and (2) the one in the advert has three side bars along the bottom half of the bed going across both the foot and the head of the bed (giving added stability) whereas yours only has a single side bar going across the foot and the head.  Surely this is contributing to the lack of stability?  (And the fact the foot of the ladder doesn't go out as far as in the advert will also make it less stable)

What you have isn't what you were buying as per the advert.
