Morning everyone
It's raining here too - it did get out nice yesterday afternoon - I got my washing dried and did some dead heading - the flowers are all bashed from the heavy rain.
Has anyone any advice for a sunburnt bottom lip? Apart from I shouldn't have let it get burnt, but it's the first time it's ever happened - it is so painful. Yesterday I put lots of lipsalve on but it didn't really help.
I'm taking little one into town this morning as there's craft activities on at the library then I'll bring her back here for some lunch. The painter is starting with the downstairs loo and kitchen this morning - then I'll be able to put things from the living room in the loo. I've got loads of DVDs from when the girls were younger I don't really know what to do with - it seems a shame to just get rid.
Snoozer - eldest DD saw the Barbie movie last week she'd really enjoyed it. I'll put my name down to steward for it at our cinema. She went with friends all dressed in pink!
Better go - I want to make sandwiches ready for lunch before the painter comes. Hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Hello all, we too have the rain plus a yellow warning for wind, oo-er missus !
Yesterday all the washed clothes and bedding dried outside but it's yet to be sorted it and put it away, may do that this afternoon as I slept in late this morning after a bit of a disturbed night coughing again. Yesterday I was up early, my inner clock is all to pot.
When looking for some needed paperwork I decided to sort through everything and now have a carrier bag full of old bank statements and no longer necessary paperwork ready for shredding. In the afternoon we cleared the patio of weeds and moss, Mr Fix It was on the weed burner and I followed behind with the sweeping brush and finally some weed killer for the really stubborn dandelion roots. We will be refilling the cracks which have appeared between the slabs, if it ever stops raining for long enough !
Today nothing much is happening except I shall make a big batch of spag bol in the slow cooker and we'll have some for tea tonight, then I'll divi up the rest for freezing. Oh and we won the lottery, a whole £3 ! Now what shall I spend that on ? I'm also looking forward to watching "Wolf" tonight, I've enjoyed the first 2 episodes.
TA look after that finger, hope it's stopped bleeding.
Camelot well done on completing the decorating.
Take care all, hugs all around today.

@dp1 - We sell used DVDs at our library book sales and in our book store. They sometimes take some to add to the library collection also. Maybe if you have a library nearby, they could use them.
