Asda return 15 year guarantee

Hello everyone
I bought some copper based pots & pans from Asda in 2020 and was lured in by a 15 year guarantee.
I kept the receipt so have proof of purchase.
So, the pans copper bases are falling apart. Great! No problems I have the guarantee.
Well it seems, Asda are saying that I have to take it up with the supplier. They only provide a years guarantee!
Now, for the life of me I cannot find the supplier. It doesn't state on the receipt who it is. It just states 'stainless steel copper based pan 3 peice pan set'.
On the pan set itself it only states 18/8 stainless steel cookware. 15 year guarantee!
Obviously I didn't keep the box. Does anyone out there have any ideas of what I can do?

So doing a quick Google on Asda, they are selling a set of pans that comes with a lifetime warranty in the manufacturer product description blurb but if you read the online specifications for Asda, that just says the one year.
So I suspect your pans had something on the packaging about the 15 year thing and is down to the manufacturer.
Under the consumer credit act you do have the right to argue that things should last a reasonable length of time (depending on what they are), but with the age of the pans, you would have to have an independent report showing that it was a manufacturing issue that was there from the start. Are they selling anything similar now which you could work out the manufacturer from?
ETA - found this online which references the 15 year guarantee and what you need to do - can you point this out to them which shows that if your pans are eligible, they should be dealing with it themselves? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
