Amending a P55 Form online

I submitted via my Gateway account a P55 form, in order to reclaim tax paid on a flexibly accessed pension.
Realised that the figures I put down on the form, notably the original gross amount requested AND the amount of tax paid are both out by about £5.
There is no facility to send an email to HMRC and I can't get through on the phone.
D'you think re-submitting a fresh P55 form is a good idea or will it confuse them that they have two tax refund claims from me within 48 hours?
If I DON'T send an amended P55, I hope that they will realise my error and refund the correct amount. Just worried that if they spot an inconsistency, they'll just bin the application?

I don’t know if there’s an official answer to this, but for £5 either way I’d just leave it, if you do a yearly tax return any discrepancy can be picked up there, if not don’t sweat it.0

The pension provider will report the (correct) information to HMRC. It'll either be picked up automatically by the system once your P55 details are processed and the provider has made their report (likely to be quarterly, so may not happen at once, so don't panic if your personal tax account isn't updated until after 30 September), or the £5 error will be sorted out come the end of the tax year.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
