I've already had one of these... essentially it asks me to check that the savings account I have is still the right choice because I could get better returns from a set of options.(I've grumbled about why I can't before so I won't repeat myself here.)Interestingly the rate has approx. doubled since the government started adding pressure about the low returns.0

Why do we need this nanny state intervention, saving and investing is no different to every thing else in life. If you can’t be bothered to spend a little bit of time looking at what you have or don’t have then you end up with not very much.
It’s not rocket science looking at a list of best buys. I agree, educate people to avoid scams like ‘own your personal barrel of whisky or invest in woodland and the like.
All this sort of stuff does is make it harder for those who do make the effort.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
