    Be careful with your choice of film - There will be a date code along the edge of the film, and most prints will have date codes on the reverse.
    Your best bet would be to find a roll of Kodachrome and someone that can develop the film using the K-14 process. Even after going through all that, it is fairly easy to date a photograph to within a year or three, especially if you are familiar with the location.
